WHY CHOOSE US?
~Whether it’s called aeration, aerification or cultivation, it is recognized as an important part of turf maintenance. As the cold weather leaves remember soils that are heavily compacted warm slower than other soils, and this can limit growth. Tight soils contribute to roots growing more closely to the surface where the environmental extremes of heat and cold can stress the turf. When large pores are increased through deep drill aeration, more air is available to move through the soil, which allows a larger, stronger and deeper root system to develop.

~What do you do when your greens reach the point where they are so contaminated with organic matter or have formed a hard pan layer from years of conventional aerification now the roots, air and water cannot penetrate through the soil profile?

~Do you have an issue with poor drainage due to impermeable soil underneath the green?

~Do you have turf grass wear and soil compaction causing you turf grass stress?

We are a fully operational company originated in Kentucky recently under new ownership and have recently expanded our service area to you!

Our company specializes in deep drill aeration. I am sure you’re saying to yourself “but we already aerate” so let me explain why our service would benefit your turf.

First let me address what differentiates Deep Drilling from conventional aeration. Its depth; we pierce through all layers of sand that have developed through the years. Addressing compaction, porosity, and percolation deep in the profile is difficult to accomplish with most conventional aerators and the primary benefit of Deep Drilling.

Benefits Of Deep Drill
-
Help prolong the life of your greens.
-
Increases root depth and water percolation.
-
The drilling action is gentle on the turf.
-
The Deep Drill penetrates past layers to a depth of 10” to improve deep drainage and gas exchange.

One of the big advantages with the procedure is that golfers don’t view the procedures as disruptive to putting as regular core aerification. It is usually not necessary to discount rates after the procedure. This sometimes in itself can offset much of the cost of the procedure.

In my recent travels to meet with course superintendents across the country, one thing I've found is that there isn't a region where overall turf quality doesn’t stand to be improved with the adoption of the deep drill aeration service. Traditional thinking has been that fall is the best season to aerate cool season turf, while spring is the season of choice for courses working warm season turf. In reality, deep drill aeration can be beneficial when performed in either season and that’s the key to integrating it. In the spring, deep drill aeration opens up pathways for nutrients and life-giving water to go into the new roots and shoots deeper in the soil. In the fall, aeration can let in light and air deeper into the soil, keeping the dangers of mold under control and even minimizing the chances of winter lawn threats like snow mold.
